I produce work in the realm of experimental digital media and textiles.
The projects featured on this site document some of the creative and technical experiments I’ve been drawn to through my practice. My recent works have been largely consumed by the exploration of algorithmic machine embroidery. All the machine embroidery will see here is digitized using a collection of programs I’ve written in Java Processing. For anyone interested in free embroidery software, check out this GitHub repo of general digitizing tools that I use. I will likely make a video soon to make the whole workflow accessible to anyone who wants to follow a step-by-step guide, but also feel free to reach out if you want help getting started with it.
I sort of treat this site as a bulletin board – some projects have a lot of content about the entire processes of making them, but not all, and I will occasionally go back to add new details to things.
